Field Service Technician

Join Kelly as a Field Service Technician and become a critical part of our operations team supporting water treatment systems for a variety of industries. You'll be hands-on with multiple advanced technologies, including media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF). Your main responsibility will be to unload Process Filter Presses and maintain optimal site operations.

Duration: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule/Pay: 12-hour shift- 2/3/2 schedule (rotating 6am-6pm; 6pm-6am) @ $24.00 p/h

Key Characteristics:

  • Consult with Shift Leads and operation teams for direction
  • Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment as directed
  • Change and clean filters and other equipment/pits
  • Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
  • Demonstrate excellent mechanical aptitude

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Empty process filter presses
  • Power wash pits and equipment, including confined space entry
  • Carry out filter changes, process cleaning, and process operations as directed by Shift Leads
  • Maintain site paperwork and provide summaries of work performed
  • Communicate with Shift Lead regarding inventory and supply of chemicals and replacement parts
  • Monitor and maintain systems as directed
  • Perform analytical testing as directed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

  • Required: High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification or international equivalent + 2+ years of service/maintenance experience or equivalent in an industrial environment
  • Preferred: Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation

Working Conditions:

  • Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterity
  • Ability and willingness to work in environments including industrial, manufacturing, and power facilities while exposed to the elements
