We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will provide essential technical support for software applications, hardware systems, and peripheral devices. This is a long-term contract position that requires a proactive individual adept at troubleshooting, maintaining systems, and ensuring end-user satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software applications, PCs, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates on hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Document detailed steps and solutions for resolving user issues in the call tracking system.
• Install and configure hardware and software for end-users as needed.
• Manage inventory control and assist in transporting hardware between locations.
• Stay informed about current trends and advancements in technology to enhance support services.
• Deliver individual or group training sessions on computer hardware and software usage.
• Participate in projects aimed at implementing new technologies and improving service delivery.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to higher support levels when necessary.
• Handle additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 operating system.
• Experience with Active Directory for user account management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
• Familiarity with hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage inventory and transport hardware as required.
• Capability to train users on technical systems and tools.
