Cash Operations Coordinator

Responsible for the coordination of activities and personnel functions related to the processing of cash operations. Conduct audits to maintain integrity of cash handling procedures. Reconciles daily deposit paperwork and submits to Corporate Finance. Perform cashier functions during staffing shortages. Maintain departmental records and supplies to ensure an efficient operation. Train new employees. Greet and respond to requests in a customer focused manner.

Education/Experience Required: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Associates Degree preferred. Three (3) years of progressively more responsibility related to the cash/accounting field required. Some hospital cashiering experience preferred. Inter-personal skills necessary to effectively communicate and provide customer service to people from various social-economic backgrounds. Basic PC knowledge, familiarity with electronic equipment and Microsoft Office programs (e.g. cash register, Word, Excel, etc.) preferred. Must have mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills in order to handle semi-complex details and exposure to confidential information.
