Controls Engineer (PLC Programmer)

Job Title

Expert-level proficiency with Siemens PLCs (S7-300/400/1200/1500). Advanced knowledge of TIA Portal and Step7. Strong programming skills in: AWL (Statement List) SCL (Structured Control Language) Ladder Logic Graph/Grafcet Advanced data handling: Complex data structures, UDTs, DBs Pointers (ANY type), indirect addressing Absolute and symbolic addressing

Development and validation of safety programs including: Safety I/O configuration Safety F-blocks Safe motion functions (SLS, SOS, SS1, SS2, etc.) Light curtains, scanners, safety mats, door interlocks

Experience configuring and integrating hardware on: Profinet Profibus IO Link Profi-safe Skilled in device parametrization, network diagnostics, and troubleshooting communication issues.

Motion / Drives Experience configuring and commissioning: Servo drives VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) Positioning systems, coordinated motion, and axis control

HMIs Configuration, design, and integration of Siemens HMIs (WinCC, WinCC Comfort/Advanced/Unified). Tag management, screen development, alarms, navigation logic and user-level configuration.

Complementary Technologies Working knowledge of machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, etc.). Experience with TOX presses (setup, communication, diagnostics).
