Cloud Environment: The primary cloud platform is AWS, with Azure as a secondary platform due to M365 integration; Oracle is being de-emphasized and moved to OCI, with future plans for AWS RDS.
Compensation & Contract: Salary range is estimated around $100k-$120k, with a contract-to-hire model and individual performance-based bonuses and annual raises once converted to a FTE.
On-Site Requirement: Individual contributors are required to be on-site two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday), plus one "power day" (Thursday) per month.
On-Call Expectation: There is a weekly on-call rotation, primarily for scheduled after-hours changes and functional problems that the offshore team cannot resolve.
Summary statement: The Cloud Operations Analyst is responsible for leading the management, optimization, and automation of cloud and on-premises infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and business continuity. This role includes driving improvements in observability, server and batch operations, and data center management while proactively identifying and resolving performance and reliability issues. The Cloud Operations Analyst provides technical leadership, mentors team members, and consults with cross-functional teams to enhance operational excellence through best practices, process enhancements, and cutting-edge technologies.
