Client Service Leader - Water Services

CDM Smith has an exciting opportunity for a Client Service Leader to expand water, wastewater, and environmental services business development across southeastern Michigan. We are looking for someone who can lead business development opportunities in collaboration with our growing team of local and national project managers, technical experts, and marketing professionals. As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:

• Developing new business and maintaining high-value relationships with water/wastewater/environmental clients in Michigan.
• Creating client engagement strategies and pursuit plans for multiple clients.
• Coordinating with senior regional and national leadership to identify opportunities to expand CDM Smith's delivery of strategic service offerings.
• Developing & managing proposal efforts, business strategies and presentations and leading contract negotiations.
• Working effectively with project managers, technical specialists and delivery teams as a leader in our delivery of quality projects.
• Leading select projects within his/her technical area of expertise.
• Being active in professional societies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineering (PE) license.
• 15 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience winning/managing projects in the Michigan municipal water market.
• Strong client relationships with water clients in the Michigan market.
• 15+ years of experience with municipal water/wastewater projects in the Michigan market.

Additional Compensation: All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position.
