Your valued contributions: Under the direction of the Site Manager, coordinates work flow and assures quality of work performed and quantity produced by the Clerical Support Staff (CSS). Oversees the day-to-day activities of the Clerical Support Staff (CSS): Serves as the primary point of contact for clerical support staff by providing information and assistance regarding facts and interpretation of policies and procedures relating to patient complaints/disputes, billing questions and workflow. In collaboration with the Site Manager, monitors and tracks performance standards to ensure adherence to the providers preferred scheduling templates to promote an efficient workflow and provide education and training as needed, while keeping an open channel of communication with the providers. Reports all clerical workflow deficiencies in areas such as UDS, PCMH, ACO, insurance information needed for billing to the Site Manager. Maintain a working knowledge of all clerical activities to assist in identifying additional training opportunities to improve quality/performance. Also directly provides training and coaching and counseling as needed. Provide general clerical support only in emergent situations to contribute to the efficient operation of a function or office. Covering windows, medical records, and scheduling. Works closely with the Corporate Billing Department to verify billing issue/concerns/question through the Billing Supervisor. Coordinates monthly clerical site meeting. Discusses policies and procedures and solicits feedback.
Required training and experience: Possesses a current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) CPR. Possesses a current State of Michigan driver's license and valid automobile insurance.
