Associate Sales Executive

Join our Tax & Accounting sales team to champion Audit Workflow products from first touch to close and renewal. A successful Associate Sales Executive draws on their high level of initiative and ability to apply strong business acumen to conduct a thorough needs analysis within their accounts. Someone in this role will also have the ability to develop trust, demonstrate their credibility with all account stakeholders through their knowledge of Thomson Reuters' products and services, and acquire knowledge of the tax and accounting industry.

About the Role In the role of Associate Sales Executive, you will:

  • Demonstrate the use of Tax & Accounting products to the customer, focusing on the Audit Workflow products
  • Tailors client presentations to the unique needs of the individual account and articulates the proposals through ROI justification to shorten the sales cycle
  • Prospect new customers, validate their needs, shape product plans, and support other Sales Executives with setting up demos
  • Attains sales and renewal targets and quotas on a monthly basis
  • Possesses core knowledge across products within the sub-segment and engages Solutions Consultants where deep product expertise is required to drive to close
  • Supports developing and executing territory growth strategies
  • Seeks feedback on product usage to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Completes weekly sales performance reports and completes all CRM reporting in a timely and accurate manner
  • Drives strategic initiatives supported by the assigned account team, consisting of Sales Development Representative, Client Executive, and Solutions Consultants, to drive growth in the assigned territory
  • Leverages sales automation tools and data insights to engage prospects and expedite sales cycles (such as utilizing Flash/EMS/Salesforce)
  • Understand specific customer archetypes and needs that are most prevalent within the sub-segment and territory
  • Attends sales meetings and conventions as required

About You You are a fit for the role of Associate Sales Executive if you have:

  • Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience in an Account Executive role with a proven/consistent track record of quota attainment
  • Software as a Service Sales (SAAS) experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques
  • Excellent communication skills & presentation skills to maximize phone and virtual client meetings/presentations
  • Strong prospecting and closing skills
  • Ability to win new customers as well as cross-sell/upsell existing customers
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation
  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite, utilizing a CRM (such as Salesforce preferred), and overall technical aptitude
  • Continuous learner, flexible and open-minded, positive attitude
  • High level of integrity and understanding of sales ethic
