Assembler - 1st Shift

Join our dynamic assembly team as an Assembler, where you will be responsible for building high-end coffee machines. You will work at designated workstations as part of an assembly line team, performing sub-assembly tasks and assembling various mechanical and electrical components.

Responsibilities:

• Work at one of the multiple designated workstations as part of the assembly line team.
• Perform sub-assembly tasks that contribute to the overall build of a coffee machine.
• Assemble various mechanical and electrical components, including washers, screws, wires, panels, hoses, and other hardware.
• Use hand and power tools such as electric drills, tape measures, and torque drivers.
• Rotate between different workstations to learn the full assembly process for each machine.
• Participate in the assembly of different machine types, rotating between models.

Essential Skills:

• At least 1 year of experience in production, assembly, or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in assembly or electronics.
• Knowledge of hoses and sub-assembly processes.
• Familiarity with blueprints, micrometer, caliper, or gauge.
• Experience with tools and assembling from start to finish.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a small, air-conditioned assembly facility. You will work 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Enjoy the flexibility to sit, eat, drink, and listen to music while working, as long as quotas are met. We prioritize efficiency and a balanced work-life culture.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allen Park, MI.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.77/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
