Application Engineer Intern

The Application Engineer Intern will assist in configuring and supporting software functions for web-based, internally hosted applications. This role provides hands-on experience in application development and system management.

Support the design, development, and testing of application changes under supervision

Assist in configuring and managing multiuser systems

Help improve and automate processes, including data retrieval

Maintain application integrity and functionality with guidance

Contribute to developing simple automation scripts to reduce manual tasks

Participate in analyzing and proposing application changes to meet business needs

Learn system details and help educate end users on best practices

Minimum Qualifications:

Self-directed approach

Ability to communicate effectively

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to scripting or programming languages (e.g., Visual Basic, PowerShell,.NET, C#) through coursework or projects

Experience with learning automation and application configuration

Experience with vendor applications (e.g., ServiceNow, Workday, Varicent, etc.)

Strong problem-solving and communication skills
