This engineer will be working on the first entirely autonomous production line at this manufacturer. Work is performed in a centralized manufacturing engineering activity or assembly/plant activity where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised as well as a high level of independent judgment. An ideal candidate for this role has a highly technical background, including an understanding of automation, controls engineering, and plant IT experience - specifically within cloud-based software. They will be partnering with a team of engineers to work in various capacities across the production environment. This engineer must exercise independent judgement, initiative, and creativity to develop innovative solutions and drive best practice implementation. Work may involve developing, testing, and piloting novel manufacturing technology.
