Location: Big Rapids (Main Campus) Department: 33600 - Social Sciences Advertised Salary: $48,000 to $50,000 - Salary commensurate with qualifications pursuant to the FSU and FNTFO/AFT Agreement FLSA: Exempt Temporary/Continuing: Temporary Part-Time/Full-Time: Full-Time Union Group: Ferris Nontenure-Track Faculty Organization (FNTFO) (AFT) Term of Position: 9 Month At Will/Just Cause: Just Cause Summary of Position: The Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences seeks qualified candidates to teach courses in Cultural Anthropology, Physical Anthropology, and/or other Anthropology courses in keeping with instructor qualifications and department demand. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants maybe be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. The position requires a combination of online and face-to-face instruction on the Big Rapids, MI campus. However, the candidate selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment. The anticipated start date for this position is August 2023 at the earliest and January 2024 at the latest.
