VP of Operations (Property Management)

Join a privately held real estate investment firm vertically integrated with a dedicated property management platform as the VP of Operations to oversee its growing portfolio of multifamily assets. The Vice President of Operations (Property Management) will directly impact the platform's culture and will be responsible for driving operational excellence across all properties.

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity within the property department.
• Oversee project management initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize resources.
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of accountability and achievement.
• Prepare and present operational reports to senior leadership.

A successful VP Operations (Property Management) should have:

• 10+ years of multifamily property management experience
• Proven success in building or scaling property management operations
• Strong financial acumen and operational oversight
• Experience with capital projects, leasing, marketing, and compliance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel nationally and work cross-functionally

The role will roughly pay in the $140,000 to $180,000 range but will depend on overall qualifications and experience.
