Developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base. Manage a lead a team of sales / marketing reps. Build culture, collaboration and a team based setting. Build and lead marketing strategy to help generate brand awareness leads and more. Manage company P&L, financials, forecasting and budgeting. Work cross functionally across all teams. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objectives. Effectively communicating the value proposition through proposals and presentations. Reporting on sales activity and forecast to senior management. Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status. Building and leading a high-performing sales team. Understanding category-specific landscapes and trends in industrial lighting.

A successful VP of Sales should have: Minimum of 5-10 years of technical sales leadership experience. Experience in custom lighting, highly engineering solutions, electrical engineering preferred. Prior experience managing $20-50M and growing a company / team. A proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets. Previous experience in both sales and marketing leadership. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. Strong business sense and industry expertise selling across multiple different industries. Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
A competitive salary range of $160-220k base salary, commensurate with experience. Variable compensation ~25-30%. Comprehensive benefits package. Opportunity to lead and develop a sales team within the organization. Location: Ability to commute to Ballston Spa, Eastern NY area. OPEN TO RELOCATION.
