Responsibilities include planning and layout of the line and grade portion of a project, reviewing blueprints and customer needs, leading team with construction project planning, monitoring job subcontractors, utilizing good time management, keeping construction work logs, maintaining a professional and client-facing attitude, ensuring proper signage and safety on the construction job site, reviewing bids, scheduling on-site inspections, and maintaining relationships with local municipalities.

Experience in field engineering, surveying, and layout with self-perform concrete. Proficient in using Total Station, Robotic Total Station, and/or Theodolite equipment. Ability to read and understand plans. Technical understanding of residential construction including building codes, trade sequencing, and best building practices. Validate dimensions by reviewing architectural and structural drawings before execution. Work with subcontractors, suppliers, utilities, city inspectors, organize and direct activities concerning construction projects. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, performance, and quality standards. Monitor and control project through managing the construction schedule and directing subcontractors and suppliers. Investigate potentially serious situations, anticipate project delays, monitor job site safety, and implement corrective measures.
