Maintain and update the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Review design documentation to verify adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
Develop and implement standards, procedures, and methodologies for inspection, testing, and evaluation of products and components.
Plan and oversee activities related to the analysis, inspection, design verification, testing, and integration of products to ensure quality objectives are met.
Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools to analyze quality data and identify trends or areas for improvement.
Make informed decisions regarding product acceptance and continued supplier relationships based on quality performance.
Develop and deliver quality training programs in collaboration with department managers to ensure key personnel are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
Act as the primary quality assurance resource for supervisors and operational teams, providing guidance and support on quality-related matters.
Design and implement process control and continuous improvement initiatives, as well as methods for testing and inspection throughout production.
Lead the development and execution of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address nonconformities and prevent recurrence.
Define and enforce supplier quality requirements, including ongoing performance monitoring.
Conduct both internal and external quality audits to assess compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Prepare and manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation.
