Service Supervisor, Automotive Manufacturing

The Service Supervisor, automotive manufacturing, will:

• Serve as primary service writer, preparing work orders, estimates, and repair authorizations
• Supervise and assign daily tasks to service technicians, providing training and performance reviews
• Communicate with customers on service needs, timelines, costs, and technical support
• Answer calls, generate parts quotes/orders, and manage warranty authorizations/claims
• Manage service inventory and parts warehouse, including pulling, shipping, and ordering parts
• Maintain accurate service records, logs, and warranty documentation
• Perform diagnostics and support technicians with complex repairs
• Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Track and schedule repair orders, preventative maintenance, and service activities
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address recurring issues
• Support continuous improvement in service operations and customer satisfaction
• Uphold OSHA and workplace safety requirements across service activities
• Local to Tewksbury, MA

The successful applicant:

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical/trade certification preferred
• 3+ years of automotive, vehicle service, or maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Background in low-volume or specialty vehicle manufacturing a plus
• Supervisory or team lead experience in a service/repair environment
• Experience as a service advisor, writer, or other customer-facing repair role
• Proficiency with service tracking software and Microsoft Office
• Strong customer service orientation with proven problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of OSHA and Massachusetts workplace safety standards
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license
• Ability to work effectively across teams and guide technicians in day-to-day operations
