Service Engineer

Job Description:
- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and startup of packaging systems.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in the field or via remote support.
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and performance checks on customer equipment.
- Provide technical training to customer personnel on proper use and maintenance of the systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team outside the US for escalated technical challenges and continuous product improvement feedback.
- Maintain detailed service reports and documentation.
- Manage service tools, spare parts, and coordinate logistics for on-site visits.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and effective communication and support.

The Successful Applicant:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical training.
- 3+ years of experience in a field service or maintenance engineering role, preferably with packaging or industrial automation equipment.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs (Siemens preferred), HMI, and industrial control systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings, electrical schematics, and mechanical blueprints.
- Willingness to travel domestically; some international travel may be required for training.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
- Valid driver's license and passport.
