A prominent aerospace manufacturer based in the western suburbs is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead its on-site laboratory operations. Serving major OEMs including Boeing, Raytheon, and Northrop Grumman, the company maintains a strong focus on quality across all facets of production. Involved in developing quality control policies and evaluates production limitations. Ability to work cross functionally to resolve quality issues. Work directly with OEM manufacturers to discuss product quality. Maintain and continuously develop the company’s QMS. Assist with creating and maintaining quality documentation. Support first article inspection, approve materials, final product assemblies by confirming specifications, conduct visual and measurement tests, and reject and return unacceptable materials. Ability to troubleshoot CMM programming. Understanding of root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action. Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications to establish correct inspection criteria. Working knowledge of NADCAP regulations.

5+ years experience in quality within manufacturing. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Knowledgeable of Gage R&R and other calibration methods. Understanding of AS9100 or IATF 16949. Able to read and interpret customer GD&T blueprints. Experience within aerospace preferred. Sponsorship not provided.
Competitive base salary between $95,000-$110,000, depending on experience and skills. 10% Bonus. 3 weeks PTO. 12 paid holidays. Every other Friday off. Shortened workdays.
