Sales Rep Automotive Components

Our client specializes in high-performance spring-steel fasteners for automotive and industrial applications. Located in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, the company offers precision-engineered clips, clamps, and bands, supported by advanced stamping, heat-treating, and quality-control systems. Job Description

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and industrial clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
  • Understand customer technical requirements and collaborate with engineering and production teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and product presentations.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules in alignment with company objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and activity reports.
  • Represent TOPY Precision at industry trade shows, customer visits, and technical meetings.

The Successful Applicant

  • Technical aptitude and the ability to understand engineered components.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel to meet customers and events.
  • Sales experience (automotive/components is a plus).
