Sales Engineer Adhesives High-Performance Products Bay Area

Our client is a manufacturer of specialty adhesive technologies for companies in consumer electronics, semiconductor, automotive, automation and more. They work with the majority of their clients during the development phase putting them truly on the cutting edge of innovation with amazing companies pushing the needle of new product development. Our client is actively expanding, and the US is their highest growing market as they are attaining steady 10%-15% YoY growth.

Job Description

  • Hunt for new sales and opportunities while expanding your customer base
  • Collaborate with engineering team and executives in the US and Germany
  • Design and create technical adhesive and processing solutions
  • Work with cutting edge clients in assisting developing their high innovation products
  • Visit and represent our client at trade shows and key industry events and grow your network
  • Internal and external project management

The Successful Applicant

  • Reside in Bay Area (Required)
  • Degree in engineering (mechanical, process, material science, or similar technical areas) (Required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer support/customer facing roles. Sales experience ideal but not required
  • At least 5 years of technical corporate experience
  • Willingness/ability to travel
  • Hunger to learn and grow
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems
  • Able to do 2 month onboarding all expenses paid in Germany
