Job Description

Reporting directly into the Senior Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a team of 10 individuals
• Ensuring the plant is running smoothly
• Implement and adhere to safety practices
• Manage plant production planning
• Manage maintenance across plant and follow up on maintenance jobs
• Ensure products meet specifications
• Hire, onboard and train employees

The Successful Applicant

• Education: Degree in chemical engineering or other engineering discipline
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in chemical engineering or a refinery environment
• Desire to lead a team
• Ability to be onsite 5 days/week and one weekend per quarter (where you will be paid extra for that weekend)
• Background as: Process Engineer, Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Operations Engineer, Team Lead, etc.
• Three week rotating schedule:
• Week 1: 6 am - 2 pm
• Week 2: 11:30 am - 7 pm
• Week 3: 1 pm - 9 pm
