Quality Engineer CMM Programmer MCOSMOS
Our client is a contract manufacturer located west of downtown Chicago, focused on precision drawn metal stamping, formally metal cases for bonded pistons, wheel bearings, shafts, and lip seals. They primarily serve automotive and industrial customers, and are known for their consistent commitment to quality.
Job Description
- CMM Programming (Mitutoyo/MCOSMOS experience required)
- Assisting in the PPAP process
- Experience with measuring equipment
- Lead Corrective Actions through Root Cause Analysis methods
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Help with IATF 16949 Internal Audits

The Successful Applicant
- 3+ years of experience in a quality manufacturing setting
- CMM Programming experience with Mitutoyo Machines
- Background with automotive manufacturing and the standards associated
- Experience with leading or assisting with internal audits
- Strong experience with PPAPs
- Strong Root Cause and Corrective Action experience.
- GD&T Experience
