Quality Engineer
As a Quality Engineer you will:
- Lead customer communication regarding quality issues and resolutions.
- Design, assemble, and maintain sensor packages and inline machine vision systems.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and external quality concerns.
- Maintain and update control plans for all stamped components.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer-specific APQP/PPAP requirements.
- Collaborate with plant leadership on disposition of nonconforming materials and process improvements.
A successful Quality Engineer candidate will have:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in quality engineering within the tool & die or stamping industry.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and geometric tolerancing.
- Experience with inspection gauges, control plans, and ISO documentation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and customer quality systems.
- Problem-solving mindset with data-driven decision-making skills.
