Quality Engineer

Our client is a contract manufacturer specializing in precision drawn metal stampings-notably metal cases for bonded piston, wheel-bearing, shaft, and lip seals-primarily for the sealing industry across automotive, industrial, and agricultural sectors. They are known for their commitment to quality and long-standing customer relationships. This position will focus on CMM programming, GD&T, assisting in PPAPs and audits.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• CMM Programming (MCOSMOS experience)
• Assisting in the PPAP process
• Experience with measuring equipment
• Leading Corrective Actions through Root Cause Analysis methods
• Reading and interpreting blueprints
• Help with IATF 16949 Internal Audits

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications include:

• 3+ years of experience in a quality manufacturing setting
• CMM Programming experience with Mitutoyo Machines
• Background with automotive manufacturing and the standards associated
• Experience with leading or assisting with internal audits
• Strong experience with PPAPs
• Strong Root Cause and Corrective Action experience
• GD&T Experience
