Our client serves customers in the automotive and heavy trucking industries. They produce various cables, harnesses and other components utilizing electromechanical assembly processes in conjunction with injection molding. With around 400 employees on site, they operate in a new, state of the art facility and are constantly investing in their people and facilities.
Assist in external and internal audits as it relates to ISO/IATF16949
Work collaboratively with the quality team through PPAP and APQP process
Validation and measurement activity
First article inspection
Review customer specifications and technical drawings
Handle all inbound customer complaints and initiate corrective actions
Communicate with customers and suppliers directly, acting as a primary point of contact

3-5+ years of Quality Engineering experience
PPAP/APQP experience
Ability to handle first article and final inspections utilizing various validation and measurement tools
Experience speaking directly with customers and suppliers, handling complaints
Corrective action experience
Working knowledge or involvement in audits for ISO9001 AND IATF 16949
Salary ranging between 75000 and 90000 depending on experience
