Job Description

Manage property operations, including tenant relations, lease administration, and maintenance oversight.

Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.

Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of repairs and improvements.

Conduct routine property inspections to identify and address potential issues.

Oversee lease renewals and ensure compliance with lease terms and conditions.

Respond promptly to tenant concerns and emergencies, providing excellent customer service.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to property management.

Prepare regular reports on property performance and financials for stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Property Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of property management experience, preferably in residential or multi-family
  • Skilled in people management, conflict resolution, and vendor coordination
  • Experience with RealPage, SNOW Reports; Yardi is a plus
  • Strong understanding of budgets, financials, and operational oversight
  • Capable of walking properties, assessing maintenance, and leading staff
  • Knowledge of construction projects, rehab, and maintenance operations preferred
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Based in Boston or Greater Boston, able to spend 3 days/week in the field
