Project Engineer

Job Description

Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and manage assigned engineering projects and customer groups. Serve as the primary client liaison, interpreting needs and representing them throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee quality control for budget, schedule, plans, and team performance; report regularly on project status. Assign responsibilities and mentor design engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight. Collaborate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure technical support and timely delivery. Manage pre-release activities, including component selection for long-lead items. Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions as needed.

The Successful Applicant

1-3 years of project engineering experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortable interacting with clients and serving as the primary point of contact. Ability to mentor and guide design engineers on technical projects. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Engineering degree preferred but not required. Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of driving projects forward in a fast-paced setting.
