Job Description

Provide technical support for production systems, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.

Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system-related challenges and deploy updates.

Monitor system alerts and respond to incidents in a timely and effective manner.

Maintain accurate documentation of system processes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.

Assist in deploying and testing new applications or system updates in production environments.

Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions to prevent future disruptions.

Support end-users by addressing technical inquiries and providing training when necessary.

The Successful Applicant

This successful Production Support Engineer should have:

• Strong technical skills with a focus on system troubleshooting and maintenance within a trading floor
• ITIL knowledge
• Understanding of job scheduling tools (IE: Control-M or Autosys)
• Exposure to monitoring tools, such as Splunk, are heavily preferred
• Shell scripting knowledge
• Experience working in the financial services industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams and supporting end-users.
