Job Description
The role involves a variety of tasks including:
- Maintaining and updating Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and alignment with design, manufacturing, and supply chain requirements.
- Managing and processing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in a timely and organized manner.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement to implement changes and resolve product-related issues.
- Supporting product lifecycle management (PLM) activities, ensuring smooth transitions from design to production.
- Assisting in developing and maintaining engineering documentation, specifications, and standards.
- Participating in cost-reduction initiatives by identifying and implementing material or design improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements.
- Providing technical support for existing products, including root cause analysis and resolution of engineering issues.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Documentation/Product Engineer should have:
- A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in working with BOMs and ECRs
- Experience in product development and testing processes.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- An ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
