The job involves maintaining and updating Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and alignment with design, manufacturing, and supply chain requirements. It also includes managing and processing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in a timely and organized manner. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement to implement changes and resolve product-related issues. Additionally, it supports product lifecycle management (PLM) activities, ensures smooth transitions from design to production, and assists in developing and maintaining engineering documentation, specifications, and standards. The position also involves participating in cost-reduction initiatives by identifying and implementing material or design improvements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements, and providing technical support for existing products, including root cause analysis and resolution of engineering issues.
