Metal Stamping Engineer
Our client is a long-standing, family-owned metal stamping manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and reliability. They primarily support automotive customers and operate in a tight-knit, team-oriented environment.
Job Description
- Review incoming RFQs and determine manufacturability
- Partner with tooling and production teams on part feasibility
- Support development of stamping processes and tooling strategies
- Work with SolidWorks and AutoCAD for design evaluation and modifications
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient production
- Provide technical input on cost, complexity, and production risk
- Support continuous improvement of stamping operations

The Successful Applicant
A successful Metal Stamping Engineer should have:
- Experience with metal stamping (steel preferred)
- Knowledge of tool & die design and interaction
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD
- Experience reviewing quotes, RFQs, or manufacturability
- Exposure to progressive or compound dies (preferred)
- Fastener experience (nice to have)
- Strong communication skills and confidence in technical decision-making
