Job Description

This Manufacturing Engineer will:

• Lead equipment modification and process improvement projects to boost capacity and capability
• Collaborate with maintenance teams and external suppliers on equipment upgrades
• Design and develop equipment modifications using CAD software for in-house or outsourced fabrication
• Support automation and material handling system enhancements
• Foster a collaborative and service-oriented culture within the manufacturing team
• Manage documentation and communication across departments to ensure project success
• Apply knowledge of polymers and non-ferrous metal processing to optimize manufacturing operations
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols while working in both office and production environments

The Successful Applicant

A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:

• 3-5+ years manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in medical device or wire/cable manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of polymers, non-ferrous metals, and high-volume production processes
• Proficient with CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor) for tooling and equipment design
• Experience with automation and material handling systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, comfortable collaborating across departments
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem solving abilities
