Job Description
This Manufacturing Engineer will:
- Lead equipment modification and process improvement projects to boost capacity and capability
- Collaborate with maintenance teams and external suppliers on equipment upgrades
- Design and develop equipment modifications using CAD software for in-house or outsourced fabrication
- Support automation and material handling system enhancements
- Foster a collaborative and service-oriented culture within the manufacturing team
- Manage documentation and communication across departments to ensure project success
- Apply knowledge of polymers and non-ferrous metal processing to optimize manufacturing operations
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols while working in both office and production environments

The Successful Applicant
A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:
- 3-5+ years manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in medical device or wire/cable manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of polymers, non-ferrous metals, and high-volume production processes
- Proficient with CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor) for tooling and equipment design
- Experience with automation and material handling systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, comfortable collaborating across departments
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem solving abilities
