Our client is a family-owned manufacturing company based in Chicago specializing in the production of chairs, barstools, and swivel components for both residential and commercial markets. Established in the early 1900s, the company has grown from a metal products business into a global supplier of customizable seating solutions and one of the largest swivel manufacturers in the United States.

Job Description

• Industrial engineering or similar technical degree preferred
• 3-5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing
• Experience with general fabrication - CNC, Lathes, mills, bending, presses, etc
• Familiarity with Tool and Die making
• Familiarity with quality control
• Strong Lean/CI experience
• Experience with wood, metal, and plastic fabrication a plus
• Exposure to electrical schematics a plus

The Successful Applicant

• A background in engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in process optimization and lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience working with manufacturing equipment and production workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
