My client, a Connecticut-based company specializes in precision injection molding for the medical and healthcare industries. With a focus on innovation, quality, and lean manufacturing, it supports complex product development from concept to production.

Job Description

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for:

• Mentoring a team of 3 engineers
• Program management
• Performance reviews, coaching and managing day-to-day tasks
• Managing tooling projects
• Customer interactions
• Working cross-collaboratively with other teams
• Coordinating team meetings
• Timeline management
• Participating in continuous improvement programs
• Establishing and maintaining procedures to achieve high standards of quality
• Leading efforts to evaluate and develop processes, equipment, materials and designs

The Successful Applicant

The successful Engineering Manager should have:

• Minimum of 5+ years experience in manufacturing operations
• Management and leadership experience
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes
• Microsoft office skills
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and policies
• Lean Manufacturing, FMEA and GD&T Experience
• Project management experience
