Job Description

The Controls Engineer will report into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

• Design, develop, and implement PLC control systems
• Create and build Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to deliver high-performance solutions.
• CAD-based panel layout and schematic design.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting, machine startup, and technical support.
• Generate and manage project documentation.
• Stay current with automation trends and implement modern control architectures.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in PLC and motion control programming for industrial systems.
• Proficient in Rockwell CompactLogix/ControlLogix/RSLogix.
• Skilled in AutoCAD and electrical panel design.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting capabilities.
