This opportunity is with a financial services client in New York City.
Handle and manage financial services litigation matters, including contract disputes and regulatory issues. Provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders to mitigate risks and ensure compliance. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements. Collaborate with external counsel to ensure effective case management and representation. Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the financial services industry. Support employment law matters as needed, leveraging expertise to address workplace-related disputes. Advise on litigation strategy and assist in preparing for hearings, trials, and mediations. Foster strong working relationships across departments to provide cohesive legal support.

A successful Contract Litigation Counsel should have:
