Job Description
The CNC Manufacturing Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and will:
- Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC lathes with live tooling for complex aerospace and defense parts.
- Design and fabricate custom fixtures and tooling to support precision manufacturing.
- Create and maintain 2D process drawings, operation sheets, and tooling lists.
- Develop and implement shop floor inspection methods to ensure quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and assist setup personnel with complex prototype and production parts.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with ITAR regulations and company policies.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team-oriented approach.

The Successful Applicant
A successful CNC Manufacturing Engineer should have:
- Experience programming 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC lathes with live tooling.
- Proficient with CAD/CAM software, preferably NX or similar.
- Strong blueprint reading skills and thorough understanding of GD&T.
- Experience with metrology tools and part inspection processes.
- Skilled in fixture design and tooling selection for precision manufacturing.
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex setups.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ITAR regulations and compliance requirements.
