Our client is a food manufacturing company that operates large-scale production facilities in Southern California. They are expanding with a major new manufacturing plant designed for 24/5 operations and hundreds of employees. Our client is looking for Bilingual (English and Spanish) HR leaders who have experience supporting multi-state manufacturing operations. The successful candidates will be comfortable being hands-on and present in plant operations. People management experience is a must, as well as experience with recruiting, workforce management, and employee relations. Successful candidates will have strong knowledge of employment laws and best practices. The HR Director will be on-site full-time at their two plants in San Bernardino County, CA. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Job Description

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's overall goals.
• Oversee recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent in the retail industry.
• Manage employee relations, ensuring a positive and productive work culture.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Design and administer employee training and development programs.
• Analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve organizational performance.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop competitive compensation and benefits programs.
