Manufacturing Engineer

Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.

Develop and design the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout.

Define the sequence of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools, equipment, and other functions that affect product performance.

Adapt machine or equipment designs to factory and production conditions.

Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans as needed.

Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency and initiate corrective actions to address deficiencies and ensure product quality.

Develop and implement manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control, and establish those techniques as required.

Provide guidance to engineering teams regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Ensure all processes and procedures are in compliance with applicable regulations.

Deliver and oversee projects from design to implementation while adhering to policies and applying specialized knowledge and skills.

Communicate and collaborate with senior internal and external customers and vendors to exchange information, influence decisions, and resolve complex issues.

Provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the job area, and may manage projects requiring delegation of work and review of others' work products.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required).

4–6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.

Experience working in regulated industries is preferred.

Process validation and computerized system validations (CSV).

CAD design proficiency.

Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (including complex spreadsheet development).

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.

Ability to work independently under limited supervision.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Practical knowledge of project management principles.

Willing to work 100% on-site in Humacao, PR.
