Join the Bellagio Horticulture team as a Gardener for our Offsite Garden Support Warehouse, where you'll play a key role behind the scenes in supporting one of the most iconic floral programs on the Las Vegas Strip. Based at our offsite warehouse, this position is focused on logistics and operations, including loading and unloading materials, transporting plants and décor, and supporting the movement of seasonal displays to and from the property.

In this role, you'll help ensure the Conservatory team has everything needed to execute world-class displays by safely operating vehicles, assisting with inventory handling, and supporting installation and breakdown efforts. The starting rate: $19.86 per hour

The day-to-day:

• Drive and operate company vehicles or carts to travel between properties, transport materials and equipment, and unload and inspect inventory
• Operate power and motorized equipment such as blowers, hedge trimmers, tractors, lawn mowers, edgers, chainsaws, aerial lifts, forklifts, turf aerators, and roto-tillers
• Use manual hand tools and equipment including rakes, loppers, hand saws, pruning shears, shovels, hoes, fertilizer spreaders, pesticide sprayers, sod knives, and hedge shears
• Maintain landscaping and plant health by planting, transplanting, fertilizing, watering, pruning, weeding, and applying chemicals; care for annuals, turf, trees, and shrubs while monitoring soil, fertilizer, moisture, and overall appearance
• Ensure proper pest and irrigation management practices
• Inspect work areas to identify safety hazards and ensure landscaping meets appearance standards

The ideal candidate:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• One (1) year of prior relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Knowledgeable of exterior and interior plant materials, irrigation practices and pesticide applications
• Prior warehouse experience a plus
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
