The Distinguished Enterprise Architect will be the driving force behind MGM's technology transformation, setting the strategic vision for enterprise architecture across Technology, Digital, and Data domains. This leader will unify applications, infrastructure, data, and security into a seamless, scalable ecosystem while spearheading innovation through cloud-native platforms, API-driven integration, and AI-powered solutions. Partnering with executives and senior leaders, the architect will champion a modern, agile architecture practice that accelerates digital transformation, balances speed with governance, and positions MGM as a future-ready technology leader.
The day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Set and champion MGM's enterprise architecture vision, aligning TDD domains with business strategy and future technology trends.
- Drive modernization through cloud-native, API-first, event-driven, and AI-enabled designs—demonstrating expertise with live coding examples.
- Lead and govern enterprise architecture reviews, ensuring solutions meet principles, best practices, and enterprise standards.
- Advance data strategy with deep knowledge of frameworks, lakes, ingestion, and pipelines to deliver scalable, sustainable ecosystems.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies across infrastructure, applications, data, and security while guiding Agile, just-in-time practices.
- Inspire and mentor architects, shifting from legacy COTS models to modern, AI-powered, multi-cloud architecture that positions MGM as an industry leader.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 15+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud architecture, leading large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Proven fluency in cloud platforms including AWS and GCP, with hands-on expertise in cloud-native tools and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong background in data architecture, database design, and implementing data-driven enterprise solutions.
- Demonstrated experience integrating AI/ML and automation into enterprise systems with real-world implementations.
- Deep understanding of compliance and governance standards (PCI, NIST, GDPR) and their application in enterprise and GRC frameworks.
- Skilled communicator and leader with C-suite influence; holds or pursues industry-recognized certifications (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe).
