It is the primary responsibility of the Food Dispatcher at Mandalay Bay to expedite distribution of room service amenities, and all orders to food servers in a timely manner. Must keep a clean workstation and ensure guest satisfaction.

$23.0083 Hourly

The day-to-day:

• Receive and distribute order to Food Servers evenly and efficiently; fire order through Micros computers to kitchen lines for timely pick up
• Answer phone with professional manner
• Log all food service runs; add up total hours of service personnel for payroll and budgeting purpose at the end of each shift
• Help guests if they need expedited service due to an emergency
• Answer questions the guest may have in a courteous manner and advise of time of delivery when applicable
• Maintain excellent working relationships with Food Servers, Runners, Bus Person, and other fellow employees
• Maintain all safety and sanitation standards

The ideal candidate:

• Is 21+ years of age
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 2+ Years of prior relevant experience in a restaurant setting
