✨ About The Role
- As the first Engineering Manager at Method, you will shape the engineering culture and drive technical excellence.
- You will lead and mentor a team of approximately 8 engineers, conducting performance reviews and implementing talent management strategies.
- The role involves overseeing resource allocation across projects to ensure efficient utilization of engineering talent.
- You will develop and implement technical strategies to enhance infrastructure, processes, and overall architecture.
- The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and execute the product roadmap.
- You will contribute to hiring and onboarding processes to build and scale a high-performing engineering team.
⚡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- A strong technical background is essential, particularly in full-stack development with JavaScript, React, Node.js, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in a growth stage start-up, especially in the Series A - D size, is highly valued.
- The candidate should have a proven track record of building out engineering processes from scratch.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A passion for staying current with emerging technologies and trends in the FinTech space is important.
