Job Description
Role Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for the overall development, management, and expansion of sales activities in the natural gas and electricity sector for end customers with an annual consumption up to 5 GWh (SME segment and possibly households). The role focuses on building and managing external sales channels and partnerships, including brokers, intermediaries, resellers, and online platforms, while also continuously improving retail sales processes, customer acquisition, and product offerings. The candidate will also closely collaborate with the Marketing and Portfolio Management team to deliver innovative and competitive energy solutions tailored to the retail market.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage sales strategies for the retail market in natural gas and electricity (SME and household segment).
- Identify, acquire, and manage relationships with external sales partners (brokers, agents, resellers, online platforms).
- Lead the acquisition process of new customers and ensure sustainable growth in volumes and profitability.
- Develop and improve retail products and offerings in line with customer needs and market evolution.
- Improve sales processes, tools, and reporting systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with marketing to design and execute sales campaigns, including digital and online activities.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and regulatory changes to identify new growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (portfolio management, trading, operations, legal department) for the seamless execution of customer contracts and services.
- Represent the company in external negotiations and at professional forums related to retail sales channels.
- Prepare regular reports on sales results and performance for the Head of Retail.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in selling natural gas and/or electricity in the retail market, ideally with experience in the SME/household segment.
- Proven track record in managing sales channels, partner management, and customer acquisition.
- Good knowledge of energy pricing, retail market dynamics, and relevant legislation.
- Entrepreneurial and business-oriented approach, focus on results.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Language skills: Czech, English is a plus.
