Connectivity RF Hardware Design Engineer

As an RF Engineer focused on wireless consumer devices, you will have the opportunity to work on the intricate and complex challenges impacting product design to deliver best in class wireless products. Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development and optimization of RF hardware circuits for consumer electronic products
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of RF performance issues
• Conduct RF measurements and testing in the lab to validate and debug issues
• Perform RF link budget analysis and debug RF issues in the lab
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure RF performance is met at component, board and system level
• Perform EM simulations using tools like HFSS, ADS to optimize design
• Domestic/international travel as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience
• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Experience designing RF circuits for cellular/connectivity products and familiarity using RF test equipment
• Familiarity with RF schematic and PCB layout best practices and guidelines
• Familiarity using EM tools to optimize RF design

Preferred Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Radio Frequency (RF) circuits or RF system design or Electromagnetics
• 3+ years of work experience in designing cellular/connectivity RF hardware solutions for consumer electronics
• Experience in cellular/connectivity RF design, optimization and validation
• Perform RF/EM simulation in one or more RF and electromagnetic simulation tools such as ADS, Ansys, CST etc

$111,000/year to $164,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
