Base Compensation Range: $27.04 - $33.77/hr
This position is eligible for an annual 10% bonus opportunity in addition to the base salary.

Job Summary
The Associate Field Services Engineer is an entry-level position responsible for providing on-site installation and customer support. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing complex equipment and systems to ensure their efficient operation and maintenance.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Assist in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of company products at customer sites. Provide on-site support for equipment repairs, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions. Foster positive relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service visits, including details of repairs and customer interactions. Document and report on recurring issues to help improve product quality and service processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior field engineers and technical teams to resolve complex issues and gain insights into best practices. Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates, challenges, and customer feedback.
- Training and Development: Engage in ongoing training to enhance technical knowledge and service skills. Learn about new products and updates to provide accurate information and support to customers.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while performing on-site services. Ensure that all work complies with company policies and procedures.
Experience/Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
- 0 - 1 year of professional experience.
Knowledge and Skillsets Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customers.
- Basic technical proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electronic or mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with service management software.
Physical Demands
- Standing or sitting: For extended periods at lab benches or workstations.
- Using computers: Typing and using the computer
- Equipment: Handling and maintaining scientific instruments
- Manual dexterity: Handling small instruments and samples.
- Bending and reaching: Accessing equipment or storage.
- Lifting: Occasionally lifting less than 20 pounds.
- Repetitive motions: Performing repetitive tasks such as pipetting or mixing.
Environmental Conditions
- Workspace: Climate control (air conditioning or heating) to ensure comfort.
