Mesa Associates seeks an engineering intern to assist engineers and designers with day-to-day tasks of designing substation upgrade projects. Tasks will involve utilizing AutoCAD, AutoCAD Vault, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education/Experience:

  • ABET accredited College/University engineering major - junior or senior (Electrical or Computer Engineering) student in good standing.
  • Also, accepting applications of students currently enrolled in a technical degree program with a focus on Electrical Design, Automation, Control Systems or drafting.
  • Former experience is not required, but must be familiar with MS Excel, MS Word. Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam preferred.

  • Must be able to follow an agreed upon work schedule.
  • Work well with various team members.
  • Take instructions well and be willing to learn.

Skills:

  • Preferred: Electrical Systems, Electrical Design, Drafting/Design (CAD), Autodesk, Circuit Analysis, 3D Modeling (Novice)
