Mesa seeks an entry-level Electrical Engineering Associate I. The ideal candidate will have recently graduated with a BSEE in the power field of study. Candidate should expect to perform electrical design and analysis related to gas, fossil, and hydro power generation projects, as well as balance of plant electrical design for Industrial and government facilities. Industrial or utility experience is a plus. Renewables experience such as solar and BESS is a plus. AutoCAD/MicroStation experience is a plus.

Education/Experience/Licensure:

  • 4 Year BSEE from ABET accredited school of engineering
  • EIT preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Support the engineering efforts on project design
  • Prepare and/or check design drawings
  • Develop and analyze electrical power system models
  • Work with drafters and designers on design drawings
  • Participation in site visits, field walkdowns, or client meetings at client location may be required
  • Strict adherence to electrical codes and standards
