Mercy Health Supply Chain Associate

Pick, pack, and ship purchase orders for pharmacy customers. Monitor inflow and outflow of all pharmaceuticals, ensuring purchasing staff is aware of any urgent needs. Ensures customer requests are processed timely in a compliant and cost-efficient manner.

Schedule: Mon - Fri 6AM - 3:30 PM

Essential job functions include:

  • Receiving product, fulfilling, packaging, and shipping orders within established guidelines to ensure on time delivery
  • Follow established process to fulfill orders
  • Accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment
  • Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse
  • Participate in projects as needed
  • Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty
  • Provide oversight and guidance in ensuring appropriate compliance toward perpetual inventory system. Monitor outdated items and process returns accordingly
  • Work with both system and local pharmacy teams to establish plans and processes around current drug shortages
  • Management of pharmacy inventory documentation for compliance with DSCSA and 340b requirements
  • Process and fulfill customer orders ensuring all products are packaged and tracked appropriately to minimize waste and financial discrepancies
  • Put away orders in appropriate LUM and Bulk storage areas
  • Track inventory in appropriate systems to maintain counts and organization in a complex inventory matrix
  • Responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product

Licensing/certification:

  • Forklift certification (required within 30 days of hire)
  • Valid Drivers License (required)

Education:

  • High school or GED (required)
  • Associates (preferred)

Work experience:

  • Pharmacy field, materials management, supply chain, or purchasing experience (preferred)
  • Warehouse Operations experience (preferred)
  • Epic Inventory application experience (preferred)

Working conditions:

  • Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur.
  • May be exposed to high noise levels and bright lights.
  • May be exposed to adverse weather conditions; cold, hot, dust, wind, etc.
  • May have periods of constant interruptions.
